Facts about the Central States
Accounting Research Workshop
The Central States Accounting Research Workshop is an informal,
one-day affair designed to give faculty and doctoral students an opportunity to
interact and to give feedback on early stage working papers. Authors present papers in early/active stages
of development for 20 minutes, followed by a group discussion of the paper
enhanced by a discussant/reviewer who also provides
written feedback to the authors.
- The workshop is
generally held in late October or early November.
- The Workshop is
hosted by the Department of Accounting at Kansas State
University.
- Dr. Stacy Kovar is the faculty coordinator. Contact
her to volunteer to present a paper, discuss a paper, or let us know
you want to attend.
- PricewaterhouseCoopers
provides financial support.
- The Workshop is
held on the K-State Campus.
